April 21 at 9:42 AMI love having nature close to me so we hung up a wren house right off of our back porch about 10 days ago, and we have a couple already building their nest in it. Carolina Wrens also love to build nests close to humans💕 Maybe we will have babies in a month or so!

April 18 at 1:13 PMI buy organic produce selectively- and mostly in line with the clean 15 guidelines- but I also like to buy seasonally available, locally grown produce when I can- reduces the transportation footprint. A good read on the modern food chain is The Omnivore's dilemma.

April 14 at 7:19 AMWe have a larger composter outside, but use this to collect our kitchen cuttings thru the week. Composting and recycling greatly reduces our landfill waste. (plus my garden loves the results)
