April 27 at 10:21 PMRights not roses. That we should count our blessings because we take a lot of right for granted.

April 27 at 10:10 PMGirl rising. Nothing terribly surprising as I'm already familiar, however it reiterated the power of education and how lucky we are. It was very sad.
-
April 27 at 10:06 PMNations united. It was surprising to learn there are so many triggers to disaster. Interesting to learn that research has been done but action needs to be taken.

I was grateful to be part of an organization that was helping to provide basic needs to people who don't have access to food. In the future, I would love to volunteer with an organization that helps homeless. I see many homeless people...

April 25 at 7:27 PMThe recipe I tried was one I tried in college, but I changed it a bit to make it new. It was vegetable lasagna, but instead of using spinach and traditional marinara sauce, I used alfredo sauce and a variety of vegetables. I love trying new recipes (when they turn out good). :-)
-
April 25 at 7:21 PMI only plant indigenous plants and utilize mulching and shrubs and plants that do well in hometown heat and don't need a lot of water to thrive.
-
April 25 at 7:05 PMThe lists weren't terribly surprising as I am somewhat familiar with nuances of produce and have chosen the organic route for some time. I've reviews similar list before, but I think it's best to revisit to keep the list and facts fresh.
