    I can start collecting water I use to boil pasta and use it for my plants to both save water and give a fertilizer treatment that is ok for the environment!

    I am trying to use more things around my house and re-purpose them to fit my needs rather than purchase new!

    I found it very interesting to see that our house was using slightly more energy than my neighbors! I bought a voltage meter to start tracking my appliances! I started line drying more of my clothes and turning off and unplugging appliances/chargers when not in use! I did this through the First Energy Website. Since doing the audit, I decreased our energy usage to below our neighbors!!

    What was surprising about the ingredients in your cleaning supplies, personal care, and pet products?

    I made laundry detergent--I've done this in the past! It's pretty quick (grating the soap takes a bit but is a good arm workout) and easy & saves me from extra plastic waste.
