That this is a lot easier to do when meal planning and prepping happens for the week. We typically buy a quarter or half cow from  local farmer that's also a friend so that we know it's ethically sourced, otherwise my personal opinion is that beef isn't always ethically sourced. 

Earth month is a great time to take the time to re-evaluate my sustainability efforts and re-commit to doing better each year. Speaking out and involving others is a key component as this has a ripple effect and greatly increases my impact overall. 

I have recently been trying to find something more sustainable for laundry but that also smells nice! Grab-green was a product I found while researching and they also have an option to make your shipment carbon neutral! We will have to see how they smell :) 

I also will put a plastic bottle in my toilet tank! My stepdad just did this as well. Remind my partner to turn off the faucet while he is brushing his teeth. 

Equity in access to education, basic life resources and business resources to allow for a better, self-sustaining future. Once begun it would self-perpetuate as the inequities would  be reduced and opportunities would become more equalized.

Practicing a work-life balance allows me to be present at home when I'm at home and at work when I'm at work. It reduces stress and allows me to feel good about my contributions to both. This creates the environment for me to be able to sustain myself in the workforce without compromising my commitment to my family and my well-being.
