ARCC Sustainability

It is difficult. I am a mother of three and I want/feel the need to be doing something all of the time, with my focus being pulled and redirected constantly.

I went to a park with a friend that I had never been to, sat in the grass, enjoyed the sun, and discovered a lending library!

Eco-shower head, it was actually given to my house as a gift from the N Headstart program.

I enjoyed mending my dad's clothing. I enjoyed watching his face when he realized that his pants didn't have any extra holes in them!

I mentor a second grader every week, and it has quickly become my most memorable volunteer experience. I love being a positive impact on her life. I would like to volunteer at my local library again, I volunteered over the summer and would love to go back again!

I am going to turn off the water while I brush my teeth, therefore saving more water!
