The single-use plastic items I have used the most are plastic baggies.  We've looked into way of using re-usable items like containers instead of the single-use item.

I now have a bucket in my kitchen sink for when I rincé of something I can then reuse the water to clean my veggies 

Luckily, finding out how to dispose of prescription medicines is easy since it is just a quick Google search.  Having these medicines properly disposed of is important so the medicines don't end up in a landfill potentially leaching the chemicals  into the ground.

Being able to volunteer and help the community is rewarding. I enjoy helping others and look forward to continue to do that throughout the year.
