    Watched an Earth Odyssey presentation on NBC channel about various wildlife of the Caribbean Islands. Including bird, reptile, insect and crustacean species. Interesting side note: The Caribbean Islands happen to be one of the 35 global hot spots of biodiversity!

    Tonight I watched- Wonderstruck, "Chasing The Rains" on the BBC channel. It was a piece on various wildlife (ie elephants, cheetahs , wildebeests, etc.} in Northern Kenya; in their search for water and food survival for themselves and their cubs and babies, as that area has a dramatic rainy season and 5 months later a drought season....
