  • Reflection Question
Basic Needs & Security Practice A Sharing Economy
What benefits does the sharing economy offer to you and others? If you are a little shy to try, what could be a first step for you?

I now live very close to my best friend. For a couple of months we have been alternating cooking for both families. We reduce energy consumption, each one cooks fewer times and has time for other things. Also after 40 years of friendship everyone is used to the flavors of the other house, so we are all delighted to have more variety
  • Reflection Question
Basic Needs & Security Take 5-Minute Or Less Showers
With 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?

We usually let the shower water run until it comes out at the right temperature for showering. I'm going to collect and use those first few litters to rinse my hair at the end. It's known that clarifying with cold water is better

Migration: Ousman Umar explains in his book "North to Paradise: A Memoir Hardcover" (Viaje al país de los blancos) his journey from his village in Ghana to Spain and the need to solve migration problem in the origin countries.
Spain is just one of the destination countries for migrants. Every day we see in TV how many of them lost their life in the sea, 200, 1.000, 64...
But for every African who reaches our coast, around 10 died in the way, for everyone who could take a boat, 6 didn't get to cross the Sahara.

Conflicts due to fight for mineral resources, as Coltan: I recommend you to watch the film "Sara's notebook" (El cuaderno de Sara).
How locals are manipulated with drugs, guns and false sense of power to ensure that developed countries keep total control of unvaluable resources in underdeveloped areas, and how kids engaged in these local groups have no easy way back

Invasive species and how they impact the environment, but also the life of communities around the area: I strongly recommend you to watch "Darwin's nighmare"
  • Reflection Question

What was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?

Because I'm a pizza mad and I had no usual ingredients, once I had to improvise.
I rubbed a garlic on the pizza dought, added tomato and cheese and just very thin sliced celery leevs, leek and carrot. Then dropped some peas here and there.
I have to cook my now "famous veggie pizza" every time I meet my friends and family at home, and very often for myself
