I love the scenery and fresh air .It would be better, if we had longer spring and fall season here. The summer and winter is bad in Nevada , It's too hot, you mostly have to walk in the gym here. We, only get about 3 to 4 weeks of spring and fall here and the winter is just as bad as the summer. This state is mostly, all summer and winter and the heat has gotten worse sense I moved in 2006 because, of climate change issues.

I feel that we need to take care of our forest better because, it provides so many benefits to our livelihood, health etc. It, keeps important species and animals alive and creates a safe home for them. It, protects us from floods, air pollution,it regulates our water and cleans our water. From what I studied, the only way to save our forest and ourselves, is to create and practice sustainable development. So, we can have a healthy environment, that supports human well being and economy.

What did you learn about the climate impact of refrigerants? How do supermarkets contribute to this impact?

    Cherry Vercher's avatar

By using Natural Refrigeration,  instead of (Hydrofluoro Carbon Refrigerators). We can prevent up to half a degree of Global Warming,
Supermarkets can build on adopting technologies, that are not HFC's.
Make a comment to policy changes. Replace their refrigerator to HFC-Free Stand alone units. And,replace at least 5% of their units to HFC-Free Technology annually.
