    To avoid sugar, I started by reading the nutrition facts label on every food I bought and chose products that were "unsweetened" and "no sugar added." I avoided foods with ingredients like brown sugar, corn sweetener, corn syrup, high-fructose corn syrup, fruit juice concentrate, etc.

      I knew that sugar was my weakness. Checkout one of my posts, I made a sweet treat out of coconut powder, berries and zero sugar syrup. It really tastes good. I also east dates as a treat as they are naturally sweet.
