Why is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?

    Todd Symes's avatar
    Todd Symes 4/28/2022 10:06 PM
Pollinators are very important to grow most of the food we eat. Honey bees are my favorite. When my wife became a bee keeper there was a tremendous increase in our vegetables

Yes did it for the the honey. Raw honey that is local is good for people with allergies and tastes way better than the pasteurized honeys you get at the store. It is also more nutritious to use as a sweetener.

I assume you guys did it for the honey, too?  I've always wanted to keep bees - just haven't been in good spots for it.  :)
