As a triple major in Environmental Science, Political Science, and Sustainability Studies I am most interested in the intersection of climate action and policy change. I feel a significant amount of large-scale differences can be made in this area and I want to pursue this subject in my career.
  • Reflection Question
Climate & Ecosystems Calculate Your Carbon Impact

To reduce my carbon footprint I will leave my devices unplugged when they are fully charged or over long periods of time. I already turn off all of the lights when I leave a room, take fast showers, and turn off the water while I am brushing my teeth or washing my face.

What plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?

When shopping at the grocery store today I was especially aware of how much plastic was used for some of the foods that I was buying. As a college student, convenience and expense often come first for me, which can mean I am buying less sustainably packaged foods.
