We would like to quote 30 days of Eco Challenge got us disciplined to daily tasks we opted during Eco Challenge. At back of our mind, we knew we had to meet these days tasks which will be a contributor to this planet. Going out for daily walk, eating vegan & meatless meals, spending time outside were some of the key goals. Spending daily 15minutes alone in the morning & taking sun rays, sky gazing turned out to the best activity of the day which was energy booster. This is one activity, We will continue in daily routine as our body feels recharged & connected to nature. We definitely heal with nature & that’s something We experienced in this activity. Thank you for bringing this challenge globally for all the employees. We should have more such challenges!

Saving energy reduces air pollution and greenhouse gases. The less we pollute our environment, the more we prevent global warming.

People throw garbage in open areas of the cities which are making our environment polluted. I will make sure that I will teach people to recycle their garbage and if something can’t be recycled, it should be thrown to a place which is actually built for keeping garbage only.

Pick up and segregate waste. Sort plastic bottles and instead of throwing them in the trash, reuse used plastic bottles to grow saplings. Also find wine bottles that we decorate.

Water is one of the most essential natural resources that mankind has. It is believed that first traces of life on earth were found in water. Almost 70% of our planet is covered with water and life on earth is impossible without water. We need water for our various daily needs and activities and in this process we end up wasting a lot of water. It is high time that we now realize that we have to save water to save life.

Planting trees, managing our waste, using our natural resources mindfully and generating awareness about environmental conservation are a few ways to embark on the journey of restoring our planet.

Taking care of our Earth is no longer an option – it is a necessity. There is no other alternative planet where life is possible other than Earth. Since the beginning of existence, we have exploited nature by cutting innumerable trees to build infrastructure and killing animals for food. We have extracted minerals, crystals, and gems from the womb of the Earth.

“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” may feel retro, but it’s just as important today as when the phrase was first coined. Every product we purchase has an environmental footprint, from the materials used to create it to the pollution emitted during manufacturing to the packaging that ends up in landfills. So before you buy, ask yourself if you really need it. If you do, consider buying gently used instead of new, and look for minimal packaging and shipping

So before you buy, ask yourself if you really need it.  - Very wise words and question we need to incorporate into every purchase!  Thanks for sharing!
