Reflection QuestionClimate & Ecosystems Reduce Single-Use PlasticsWhat plastic or single-use items do you regularly use? What did you substitute or could be substituted?
Doug Price 4/28/2022 5:46 AMThe single-use plastic items I have used the most are plastic baggies. We've looked into way of using re-usable items like containers instead of the single-use item. -
Reflection QuestionHealth & Equity Safe Disposal of Medications and Household ChemicalsDo you have any tips for others on finding locations that accept products for safe disposal?
Doug Price 4/21/2022 4:51 AMLuckily, finding out how to dispose of prescription medicines is easy since it is just a quick Google search. Having these medicines properly disposed of is important so the medicines don't end up in a landfill potentially leaching the chemicals into the ground. -
Reflection QuestionEducation & Livelihood Volunteer In My CommunityWhat is one thing you can do to help your community become more sustainable?
Doug Price 4/21/2022 4:48 AMBeing able to volunteer and help the community is rewarding. I enjoy helping others and look forward to continue to do that throughout the year. -
Reflection QuestionEconomy & Communities Create A Readiness PlanWhat was it like to create a readiness plan? Did you find other resources you could share?
Doug Price 4/21/2022 4:46 AMIt was a straight forward process and the type of thing everyone probably already has thought a little about. Having a plan laid out makes it easy for the entire family to understand what needs to happen during an emergency. Ready.gov is a great site to help organize and document emergency plans. -
