    Recently I stopped buying the little pocket tissue packs that are individually wrapped in plastic. You know which ones I mean the small packs. I now take few tissues out of the big pack and put in my purse. The same job but much less plastic waste.

    I look for easy and sustainable solutions for example I started to recycle food waste by changing the bin that has all the compartments I need all in one. If you make it easy then the habit will stick.

    I freeze green parts of leeks and use them in a leek and potato soups. I rarely peel my potatoes or carrots now, I just wash them well and chop without peeling, saves time and waste. I also freeze the cauliflower leaves and use them in soups.

    Stop running water while brushing teeth. It is something that I have not thought about but so easy to do. It is just a habbit.

    Not easy to mend your own clothes but recently I fixed a pair of gloves that started to have holes on the tips of the fingers. I also fixed a pair of trousers and a top that had problem with a seam. If you do not know how to do this, take a look at videos online for help.
