TAKE EMERSON'S SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING
I will take at least one of the Emerson Global Environmental Sustainability Training modules available on the Global Learning Center to learn more about this important topic for the company.
I saw a fisher cat (strange name - it is actually not a cat) running on the play set. These are very aggressive predators, and often responsible for missing cats in the neighborhood. I estimate this one to be ~100 cm, but they can get as big as 120. They are one of the few animals that will hunt porcupines.
Very interesting David. We have an experience with fisher cat as well (new English word for me :). When we had small hens, fisher cat killed two of them.
Our university exploration trip and holiday ends today in Atlanta. I noticed US hotels do not have the same energy features as EU hotels (where keycards must be placed in wall outlet to activate room power). I will make the suggestion to the hotel manager here.
It is easy to spend time outside when the weather is beautiful and you are on holiday. I walked so much that I thought I ended up in Greece. But this is an exact replica in Nashville. A sustainability bonus: the brown grass means they do not water it.
I already replaced commonly used lights with LEDs, but last night I noticed that the garage lights were still incandescent bulbs. 2 bulbs per each opener - I'll get LEDs next time I go to the store and will replace.
