    I feel as if I'm pretty good at recycling. The R's I would like to work on are reusing and repurposing. Although recycling is good, I think it's even better to reuse an item and make something new from it.

    I wasn't aware of how long food could last based on its sell by/best by/use by dates. Moving forward, I won't throw food out because of a date but rather use my senses to see if its still good.

    I learned that food can be good for up to 3 weeks past it's "best by" date!
