    The SDGs offer opportunities for closer environment–poverty integration. To be transformative, the SDGs need a broadening of measures and indicators. Indicators should include constituent roles of environment in wellbeing and poverty. A need to encourage locally shared visions of development that lead to action.

    Sustainable seafood is the most environmentally efficient source of protein on the planet. In the United States, both wild-caught and farmed fish and shellfish are managed under a system of enforced environmentally responsible practices.

    The most common single-use plastics found are carry bags, plastic drinking bottles, plastic bottle caps, food wrappers, plastic grocery bags, plastic sachets, plastic wrappers for consumer goods, multi-layer packaging used for food packing (e.g. chips packets), straws and stirrers, other types of plastic bags, and foam.

    The sharing economy has less entry barriers while giving workers more flexibility and freedom. It's easier for individuals to begin driving for Uber or Lyft than a taxi company. And approximately 72 percent of independent workers prefer being employed as contract workers instead of traditional employees.
