Participant Feed

Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Health & Equity Spend Time Outside
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

Less vitamin D from the sun. Your bare feat and hands touching soil is nutritious and helps to ground you which has health benefits. There is eye strain from screen use. A culture that is mostly indoors on screens is very sedentary and less healthy. Being outside typically leads to more activity and less power consumption. Sunshine has been proven to elevate moods.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?

Less time behind screens means less power used.
