I didn't recognize most of the ingredients. I look now for ingredients that I know or use vinegar, or soap and water.
  • Reflection Question

We feel connected, but the connections are devoid of commitments and deeper meaning. I feel more relaxed the less time I spend on my phone and the more time I spend calling someone, cooking, or playing with my dog.
  • Reflection Question
    Health & Equity Practice Mindfulness
What was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?

Practicing mindfullness, for me is about doing a daily reading, stretch or meditation. It helps me reflect on my day and put my in the right frame of mind at the start of the day. Then, I can make better decisions for me, my family, and the planet.
  • Reflection Question

Work-life balancing to me is about enjoying all my interests in and outside of work. For example, I like to ride my bike, when I was a student, I rode my bike every day because I didn't own a car. So this weekend I tuned up my bike so it is ready to ride, either to commute to work or for pleasure.
  • Reflection Question

I learned more by focusing on what the other person said rather than thinking about what I wanted to say.
