    This winter we installed a heat pump. Immediately we felt the change in our house. The temperature is more even throughout the house. We have a smart thermostat that we set a few months ago and won't need to touch until we switch to cooling. Our heat pump is fully electric. The increased electricity use is offset by our solar panels. We are so close to getting off natural gas!

    We just added solar to our house a couple months ago. We can track our production daily through an app and make sure all the panels are working properly. Saturday was our highest production day so far with 69.4 kWh. More than enough to fully charge a Nissan Leaf EV battery.
