My husband, kids and I did a neighborhood cleanup yesterday while walking our dog. We collected both trash and recyclables (mostly mailers). The most unique piece of trash we found was a broken cell phone case. The most common was face masks.

    Economy & Communities Mend Clothing
What was it like to mend your clothing? If you are skilled at mending, what tips do you have for others?

I'm by no means skilled, but have had to patch up small holes on my kids' leggings/pant knees more and more often. With how often they fall on their knees playing, it's been much easier/more economical/sustainable to mend these quickly at home.
