Hi Fred, thanks, generally I agree but in regards to CO2 footprint I am hesitant to get rid of a working dish washer and replace it with a new one. A new dish washer is CO2 negative, but over the time I will compensate. I am struggling to calculate should be the break even, in money it is easy in CO2 it is not. Because no supplier gives you the footprint

      Hi Gerd

Agree that it would likely make sense to get a new energy star appliance only when your existing unit breaks down.

I try to teach my two daughters not considering their gender. However relatives, neighbors, friends, sometimes even myself are struggling with that. "Do they like Barbie because they just like them, or because they follow expectation?"

What is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?

Very helpful to understand which elemnts in life impact CO2. Not talking about the obvious.
