Reflection QuestionClimate & Ecosystems Calculate Your Carbon ImpactWhat is one way you will reduce your carbon foorprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?
Laura Browning 4/15/2022 7:33 AMI am trying to bike more and drive less- a little scary in my area, but working on it! -
Laura Browning 4/15/2022 7:31 AMI almost feel guilty now when I do certain things, and I need to push through that feeling- it just isn't sustainable. I am trying to pivot it to action over guilt, but its a work in progress. -
Reflection QuestionBasic Needs & Security Calculate Your Water FootprintWhat is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?
Laura Browning 4/14/2022 5:39 AMWe use the dishwasher for everything- much more efficient than hand washing- and we only shower when we need it, not daily "just because". We also plant drought resistant gardens, so almost never water outdoor plants. -

Laura Browning 4/13/2022 8:41 AMMany older East Coast and rust belt cities struggle with old, unsupported infrastructure, which drives the use of single use water containers as well as keeps people from having clean water in their homes. -
Reflection QuestionEducation & Livelihood Research Impact InvestingAfter learning more about investing, how can you increase positive impacts and decrease negative impacts?
Laura Browning 4/13/2022 8:36 AMBy being very aware of your investments. There is an idea that investing is black and white- either all good or all bad, and in reality there are so many shades of grey. Being aware of those shades and knowing what is better is so important. -
Reflection QuestionHealth & Equity Learn About The Health & Equity SDGsWhat was a linking factor across this group of SDGs?
-
Reflection QuestionEconomy & Communities Induction CookingWould you consider using an induction cooking surface? If you have used one before, what do you like about induction cooking?
Laura Browning 4/13/2022 8:35 AMI use an induction cooking surface often. I like the lower temperature cooking- even if I still struggle with the higher temperature balance. -
Reflection QuestionHealth & Equity Learn About Gender DiversityWhy is equity for gender diverse individuals important for a just and sustainable society?
Laura Browning 4/12/2022 5:42 AMDifferent ideas, experiences, and backgrounds support a more sustainable future. Leaving so many people out of the conversation means their voices are not heard, their needs are not met, and their ideas go untested. -
