I attended the Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue lunch and learn last week. I learned that Saving Grace is trying to help reduce the amount of food being put into landfills by connecting extra perishable food to those that can use the food. An interesting fact that I learned is that a head of cabbage takes 25 years to decompose!
