What are the climate and disaster risks in your region?

Natural disaster risks in my region are generally limited to flooding (I can consider myself lucky, living on a hill).

However, climate risks are everywhere. Found this great website for climate risk indicators in the UK: https://uk-cri.org/

Today I learned that gypsy moths are an incredibly invasive species. They're known to completely decimate trees, and in some cases, entire forests!
  • Reflection Question
Basic Needs & Security Calculate Your Water Footprint
What is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?

A particular thing I do to reduce water usage is to water the garden at 9 am. But why not in the afternoon?

It's much cooler outside at this time, and so less water is lost to evaporation!

Whilst doing some environmental research, I came across an interesting fact:

"The total combined weight of ants on Earth is higher than that for all human beings. Earth has over 7 billion people, and 100 trillion ants."
