I will spend 60 learning about the past and present indigenous communities in my regions and what I can do to be supportive.

I will contact my energy company to find out how to sign up for my utility company's clean/renewable energy option.

I will replace manual thermostats with smart ones.

I will replace 20 minute(s) per day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside exercising, enjoying the sunrise/sunset, gardening, journaling, or practicing gratitude for nature.
I will take at least one of the Emerson Global Environmental Sustainability Training modules available on the Global Learning Center to learn more about this important topic for the company.

I will spend 5 minutes each day practicing mindfulness.

I will make a few homemade cleaning products.
1 Day per week I will prepare and eat meals without meat
I will try a new vegan or vegetarian recipe and share how it turns out on the Ecochallenge feed, or with family and friends.
I will take at least one photograph that shows how sustainability / the energy transition already shows up in my daily life (e.g., electric vehicles, paper packaging…), and I will post it on LinkedIn with the hashtags #EarthMonthEcochallenge #EarthMonthAtEmerson.
SDG 14, 15
Each day, I will spend 20 minutes exploring a new area around my neighborhood (e.g., park, water body, nearby trail, community garden, green space, etc.).
On Wed 19th April, I will attend Emerson's Global Earth Week Webinar to learn about the importance of individual action in our collective journey to sustainability.
I will sign up to the Sustainability Aficionados distribution list to receive global news on sustainability at Emerson, including world news and Greening OF, BY and WITH news.
SDG 13, 14, 15
I will watch 1 documentaries about climate change.
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
