    I don't know about you, but I kinda feel like I'm making a difference. Small changes help. I pulled out my reusable water bottle, not only am I drinking more water I'm reducing plastic bottle usage. win/win.

    It was more of a chat than a "lunch and learn". Overall, it went well, and we learned a lot from each other's experiences and insights. It was a great opportunity to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team.

    Regardless of our differences in politics, race, religion, occupation, or geographical location, one thing that unites all of us is our humanity. We all share common emotions, experiences, and fundamental needs such as love, belonging, and the desire for a better future for ourselves and our loved ones. Finding common ground allows us to bridge divides and build stronger connections with one another. It fosters empathy, understanding, and mutual respect, leading to greater cooperation and collaboration in addressing societal challenges and advancing our collective well-being. By recognizing our shared humanity and focusing on what brings us together rather than what sets us apart, we can work towards a more harmonious and inclusive society, benefiting not only ourselves but also future generations of our species.

    I personally don't have much of a green thumb and I don't love the dirt under my finder nails, but I have been getting into gardening a bit. Mostly with potted plants. I have successfully kept my indoor plants alive for 1 year already * fingers crossed*. My outdoor plants are also doing the do.
    Planting trees offers a holistic boost to mental, physical, and spiritual health. Engaging in the process of nurturing new life fosters a sense of purpose and accomplishment, alleviating stress and enhancing mental well-being. Trees contribute to cleaner air, improving respiratory health, while green spaces encourage physical activity, promoting cardiovascular fitness and overall vitality.

    In my area, people often plant native wildflowers such as lavender, bee balm, coneflowers, sunflowers, and clover. These plants provide nectar and pollen for bees, helping to support their populations. I just bought and re-potted some seasonal bloomers that they sell at Home Depot during springtime. I elevated the pot so it not on the ground, obviously I don't need the bees around my knees, lol. Get it?
